In 2025, as we celebrate our 7th year in the century-old former Muneta Residence, we take a new step forward alongside the 130-year legacy of Japan Seiko Glass Co.,Ltd.
GLASSOWA is a name born from combining “GLASS” and “TOWA” (meaning eternity in Japanese). It embodies our wish to cherish the beauty of glass and the craftsmanship within it — preserving their value across generations.
The GLASSOWA logo draws inspiration from a glass bottle, with an “Sˮ at its center — symbolizing the emblem of Japan Seiko Glass Co.,Ltd. Inspired by a delicate flower reminiscent of a herbarium, it embodies our wish for TOWA (eternity) — to carry our long-cultivated tradition into the future and leave a warm, lasting impression on all who visit.
Within this century-old townhouse lies a story nurtured through time. As we continue to add new pages to that story, we carry forward the beauty of glass and the traditions of Japan to future generations. Together with the historic Semba district—whose roots trace back to the era of Toyotomi Hideyoshi — we aspire to be a special place that adds color to people’s lives and enriches their hearts worldwide.
